Welcome
Welcome to the Official website of the Eastern Edge Robotics team. The Eastern Edge Robotics team is located in the province of Newfoundland & Labrador, Canada. The team consists of College and University students located on the Avalon Peninsula of the province. Eastern Edge Robotics is a launching pad for students to get hands-on skills that can be further used down the road in a possible career in the field.
Eastern Edge Returns Victorious
The Eastern Edge Robotics Team received first place in MATE's International ROV Competition held at the Scripps Institute of Oceanography located at the University of California San Diego. Along with first place, the team also received first place in their Engineering Presentation and Technical Report and placed third on Poster Display. This year's ROV, Pontus, completed the mission in less than three minutes of the allowed fifteen, receiving full points on tasks as well as bonus points for time. Thus, making it the quickest mission run Eastern Edge has ever had. The team would like to thank the MATE Center for once again organizing the competition as well as the Woodfin Suites for their gracious hospitality during their stay in San Diego.
